We’re grateful that the recently passed stimulus included the Shuttered Venue Grant Program which provided much needed support for our zoos and aquariums and other beloved cultural institutions, as well as critical funding for international conservation programs that help protect biodiversity and vulnerable species around the globe. But we can’t stop there.
Congress must continue to provide this essential funding to maintain programs central to fighting the climate crisis, protecting vulnerable wildlife, and preventing the next pandemic.
Please tell your Members of Congress: We’re so grateful for your past support and continue to push for Including this vital funding in FY2022 appropriations legislation.
