Celebrate mom this Mother’s Day with a cuddly sea otter mom and baby plush. Sea otter mothers and babies share a special bond - the moms always keep close to their young and teach them all the important skills they need to learn. Did you know that otters are super flexible and have the ability to reach every part of their body to clean their fur? Sea otters have some of the densest fur of all mammals and need to keep it clean to maintain the waterproofing of their outer coat that helps them stay warm. Your symbolic Mother’s Day adoption will help us continue our work on behalf of sea otters and other species, at the New York Aquarium and around the world.
