Wildlife trafficking is driving elephants, tigers, rhinos, and other species towards extinction, while weakening the rule of law and security for communities living alongside wildlife and wild places.
Please urge your members of Congress to support the Rescuing Animals With Rewards (RAWR) Act of 2019. The RAWR Act would explicitly allow the State Department to offer rewards for information leading to the arrest or conviction of wildlife traffickers and the disruption of trafficking networks.
The black market in endangered species, illegal logging, and unlawful fisheries doesn’t just harm animals. Illegal wildlife trade fosters corruption, undermines the rule of law, and robs developing countries of natural wealth and economic opportunities.
Please help send a message to Congress that you care about the future of wildlife.
