Sea turtles in distress need your help.
Dear Member of Congress:

As a constituent and supporter of the Wildlife Conservation Society, I am writing to urge you to cosponsor H.R. 347 / S. 843, the Sea Turtle Rescue Assistance and Rehabilitation Act of 2025.

Every year, hundreds of sick and injured sea turtles are rescued and rehabilitated in the United States by facilities accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA). These AZA-accredited institutions also take part in the AZA SAFE: Saving Animals From Extinction initiative, working collaboratively to protect and sustain sea turtle populations.

The Sea Turtle Rescue Assistance and Rehabilitation Act of 2025 (H.R. 347 / S. 843) would establish the Sea Turtle Rescue Assistance Grant Program, administered by the Secretary of Commerce.

This program would provide essential funding to support the rescue and rehabilitation of sick and injured sea turtles, helping facilities cover the costs of their critical conservation efforts.

This legislation is crucial to ensuring the survival of endangered sea turtle populations. I urge you to co-sponsor and support H.R. 347 / S. 843, the Sea Turtle Rescue Assistance and Rehabilitation Act of 2025.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
