Pledge to Protect Endangered Species and their Habitats

The Endangered Species Act (ESA) is credited with rescuing species including the bald eagle and grizzly bear from the brink of extinction. Unfortunately, the incoming Administration and new Congress have already stated their plans to permanently roll back many of the protections currently provided to species on the brink of extinction. We can't let that happen.

We’re pushing back and hope you’ll pledge to do the same. We must not only return the ESA to its former strength, but also push to go even further in protecting endangered species.

WCS works globally to save wildlife and wild places. Using science and research, we’re able to understand what animals and their habitats need to survive and thrive and to inspire decision-makers and local communities to take action to defend them. We need to do the same here in the U.S.

    Yes, your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent allowable by law. Your receipt—which you’ll see upon completing your contribution and receive in email—will indicate the amount of your gift that is tax-deductible.

    While all donations are welcome, monthly giving is the preferred method of giving. As our work requires persistent dedication, we require long-term support so we can be there for wildlife today and in the future.
